Cat6 handles gigabit comfortably and 10 gigabit over short runs, and suits most standard offices. Cat6A is worth the extra where you expect 10 gigabit to the desk, have long runs, high-density Wi-Fi 6 or 7 access points, or simply want the cabling to outlive two or three equipment refreshes. We advise based on your run lengths and what you are likely to need in five years, not just today.
Yes. Most installations in occupied offices are done in evenings, weekends or phased areas so staff are not working around cable trays. We plan it into the schedule rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Yes. Every link is tested and the results are supplied as part of handover, along with labelling and as-built documentation. If an installer will not give you test results, that usually tells you something.
