Business Standard adds the full desktop Office apps to email, Teams and cloud storage. It is the plan most desk-based staff in the UAE need. Here is what it includes and when to choose Premium instead.
Microsoft PartnerVerify on Microsoft Marketplace →Everything in Business Basic, plus the desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote, installed on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets and 5 phones per user.
It is the plan for staff who create documents, build spreadsheets and live in Outlook all day.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote on Windows and Mac, always on the latest version, in English and Arabic.
A 50 GB Exchange mailbox per user on your domain, with shared calendars and mailboxes.
Meetings, chat and webinars with attendee registration and reporting.
Plus SharePoint sites for departments and projects.
Spam and malware filtering, multi-factor sign-in, and email link checks added in 2026.
Across all Business plans combined in one company account.
The difference between Standard and Premium is security and device management, not Office. Premium adds Intune to manage company laptops and phones, Entra ID P1 for conditional access, Defender for Business for laptop protection and Defender for Office 365 for safer email.
If staff use personal phones for work email, if you handle client or financial data, or if a client or insurer has asked about multi-factor sign-in and device security, Business Premium is usually the better buy, especially as its price did not rise in July 2026.

Microsoft sets list prices per user per month, and they changed on 1 July 2026: Business Basic and Business Standard went up, Business Premium stayed the same. Your final price depends on the plan mix, the number of users and whether you commit monthly or annually. We do not publish fixed prices because Microsoft changes them; send your headcount on WhatsApp and we reply with an AED quote, usually the same working day.
We quote per user in AED with 5% VAT shown separately, supply against your company LPO and issue a VAT invoice. No company credit card or overseas billing is needed.
Annual commitment gives the best per-user rate and still lets you add users at any time. Monthly commitment costs more per user but lets you reduce seats month to month.
Tenant setup, mailbox and file migration, user onboarding and activation are included at no extra charge on Microsoft licences bought from Proto Link.
We track your renewal date and remind you before it, so prices, seat counts and plans can be reviewed instead of auto-renewing unchanged.
Microsoft runs cloud datacenter regions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and the UAE is one of Microsoft 365's data residency locations. For a tenant set up with the UAE as its country, core data such as mailboxes, OneDrive and SharePoint files is stored in the UAE. We confirm your tenant's data location before you sign.
We install Office on your staff machines, connect Outlook, move existing email and files, and switch on multi-factor sign-in before handover.
